Anant National University hosted the Mass Timber Workshop 2026 in Ahmedabad on 24 and 25 September, bringing academia and industry together to explore sustainable construction, alongside a student visit to a landmark project in Umargam, Gujarat.

Anant National University co-hosted the Mass Timber Workshop 2026 on 24 and 25 September at its Ahmedabad campus, bringing together stakeholders from academia and industry to examine how mass timber can contribute to sustainable construction in India.

Organised by the US Softwood Export Council (SEC) and Anant National University, with support from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) under the Regional Agricultural Promotion Program (RAPP), the workshop focused on the potential of mass timber to support environmentally responsible building practices and shape the future of the construction sector.
